Once Apple ships a wider thinner smartphone they will then sue HTC for design patent infringement on wide thin smartphones because the EVO is too like the new iPhone.

MG would buy the next iPhone even if it ran WebOS.

"But what about MG? He stated over and over again that the EVO 4G’s 4.3-inch screen made the device too big. Would he actually pass on the next iPhone if it’s wider? Shock!"

MG will buy anything that comes from Apple and he'll find a way to explain why it's the best thing ever happened to humankind and how apple is first to get there. I can see his title: '4.28-inch screen is just perfect while 4.3-inch is too big'.

No, you don't really understand him :-)

He would say "sure, other companies have made phones with a 4.3" screen, but Apple took their time, studied the market, and was the first company to do a 4.3" screen RIGHT. Now that they have redefined what it means to use a 4.3" screen, expect to see all the usual suspects copying Apple."

There's nothing I hate more than when these horrible competitors copy Apple's current designs in the past. Have they no shame?

I really dislike the tapered edges of the 3G and 3GS. Also the oversized screens of some Android devices feel, well, oversized. iPhone 4 style is where it's at. I'd buy the new one any day if they only upgrade the processor and keep everything else unchanged or similar.

PS. URL is hilarious, indeed.

u guys said it yourself, "iPhone 5 clone popped up a month ago that was just 7mm thick, 2.3mm less than the iPhone 4. It also shared the same design cues with a rounded edge, slightly convex back and a wider design."

don't u think the cases are made for that clone phone? Yes, it's easy to manufacture and produce "Gazillion" cases for a clone phone!

After all these years of case manufacturers leaking the next Apple products, you would assume someone in the chinese "Apple factories" is giving the details away so other chinese acessory manufacturers can get a leg up on the rest of the world when it comes to supplying acessories.
Basically, everyone else in the world that wants to make an iDevice acessory has to wait until it comes out to start working on the product. Except companies in FoxConn's neighbourhood. At least it makes sense to me....

huh? A slightly larger screen on the iphone would not be 4.3 inches. I have a 4 inch phone, and any bigger would be too big. 4.3 IS too big. only android geeks want that.

Nah MG would evangelize about Apple's 'innovative' new form factor. Then buy 4 of them.

Agree. As a workaround I just ctrl-click each image, so each opens in a new tab. Then I just switch tabs..
