Ice Cream Sandwich / Galaxy Nexus Unveiling
Gilbert Guerrero · Leesville, Louisiana
Good article Greg... This phone is obviously a winner. I'm glad that I held out a little while with my old N1. This is definitely my next purchase.
Weina Teo · Singapore Management
I held it with my nexus one as well. Now I can't wait to get this gorgeous thing in my hands!
Dhiram Shah · Top Commenter · R.N.Shah High School
I am waiting for the Samsung Galaxy to run on it.
Michał Krajewski · Uniwersytet Warszawski
overall impression: sweet :) but what about the "menu" button?
Stas Khoroshevsky · Be'Er Sheva`, Hadarom, Israel
The button on the right seems to be the "menu".
Shane Rohr
the one on the right looks like the multitask button on 3.0. if its like honeycomb then the menu button will apear there when running an app that uses it.
Raveesh Bhalla · Top Commenter · Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology
Context sensitive. If an app needs a menu, the button will come at the bottom

Why do you guys use this Ooyala player?
It sucks.
Why not use YouTube or Vimeo or one of the many competent streaming video services?

Copyright I guess

Ferlin Mogot it doesn't even show up on my machine (using Chrome 14 Mac and Safari 5 Mac). They aren't making a dime...

As an iPhone user I'm jealous of the face recognition lock, and the panoramic photo trick. And I of course envy the size of the screen (the keyboard looks so much easier to type on), but overall Android still lacks the polish of iOS. I still prefer the Apple App store and the app designs. And Siri is the bomb.
Syed Suffiyan
It borrows so much from its competitors to try and give the best!
Stas Khoroshevsky · Be'Er Sheva`, Hadarom, Israel
The screen looks amazing. iPhone's one is inferior both in terms of size and resolution.
Syed Suffiyan
Stas Khoroshevsky - Retina display is still the best for plenty of reasons. And its been around for many years. We should probably wait for iPhone5 to match up the Super Amoled specs of the Galaxy now.
Sherman Wong · Manager of Software Engineering at Yamaha Corporation of America
I wonder if the face recognition lock can be tricked with a photo of the person displaying from another phone.
Gabriel Braun · CEO at Pharmetrics Design
I cannot wait to upgrade from my beloved N1. Come on t-mobile. Get my new phone ASAP.
Alfian Prasadana · Choir Boy at * Brawijaya Student Choir
I love its design, nice impression. So Android uses Face Recognition Unlock to beat SIRI on iOS? hahaha this going to be interesting to see.
Ueli Burgener
Where is the search button gone? how does one use quick-accses to voice-search without search button? :(
Great device otherwise!
Ata Ismet Ozcelik · Istanbul, Turkey
The phone seems slick to me, but no need to upgrade from Nexus S, yet Nexus One or SGS users can upgrade I guess. ICS seems nice, especially the long waited People app where we can at last have high resolution photos for the contacts is very important to me. Now is the question when we can get the updates for our existing phones, good luck with that Google!
Joel Patrick Sarmiento · University of Saint La Salle
I like the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich commercial...

Simply amazing. Samsung has been wroking really hard on their phones. About the sofware, I need to try it out myself. But as seen on TC, ICS seems to be a really huge jump.
Well done Samsung & Google.
Francisco Dalla Rosa Soares · Top Commenter · Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, Japan
For you pleasure, here's the comparison between the 4S and the Nexus.
Dvir Azulay · Ben-Gurion University of the Negev
You are talking about hardware and software, but where are the actual hardware specs for the Galaxy Nexus?
Syed Suffiyan
It looks like its very inspired by Windows Phone (Metro) and iOS! What happened to original ideas?
JayHyuck Shin · Kore Üniversitesi
Well, notifications bar, NFC and widgets might count?
Syed Suffiyan
JayHyuck Shin - It really looks like they were totally confused with if they should go all metro or stay with the regular iOS look. So they ended up creating a hybrid. The 'People' and the 'Me' hub! The pics look exactly like WP7. Their marketplace has already gone Metro. UI still looks a little ugly. Keyboard is going metro again. Quick Camera feature again a rip off. I dont know. I really expect more from Google.

Oi.. I can't open techcrunch.. It's going to some website hosting domain.. Help?
Nick Walton · Works at Keller Williams Realty Frisco
Amazing looking phone, I can't wait to play with one. Doubt it will take me away from my iPhone but defiantly worth a second look. Great review.
Siyun Fan · New York, New York
Does anyone knows if the Razr will be upgraded to ICS soon? The Nexus Prime design is not as nice as the Razr (it seems so "plastic") and the camera is only 5 mega pixel, which is lower than higher end smartphone average...
Rohit Agarwal · Indian Institute of Technology Ropar
HD resolution on a phone is just mind boggling... It has more pixels than my old desktop!
Rajat Rj · Owner at Sites.google.com/site/eduplusplus/
xctly...its cumin in nov...i want it...bt m sure,it wud b around 35k!! its just awsum!!:):)

This is why iphone users prefer their iphone. You see at one point the camera app crashes. To be honest at this point the Android phones should be a lot more stable.
Christopher Logan Cain · The University of North Carolina at Greensboro - UNCG
Actually, the reason why iPhone users prefer the iPhone is because they're more forgiving of Apple. When Siri crashed everyone couldn't make enough excuses for Apple. Among which is "it's beta!"
iPhone users can use the phone they want and I'll use the phone that I want, but let's stop pretending that people aren't just biased and often the "reasons" they give for preferring one platform over another are just to justify a decision they already made.
Alvaro Rey · Texas A&M
First I did not see the camera crashing. Second, IOS crashes like every software on the planet.
Tundey Akinsanya · Top Commenter · George Mason
You do realize that was not the final build? That ICS is not out yet.
Mohammed Fathy · Software Engineer at NetCare
Mohammed Elsabry Check this out amigos.

Well, there goes my money for the next month.

mindblogging - new android feature where you think an idea directly into your blog.

Please just tell me that it has battery life comparable to the Iphone!
Karthi Keyan · Co-Founder & CEO at Blaze
And you need 2Ghz processor in your mobile to run it.

Ugly form factor.
