I remember one poor guy, must have been a clear foot taller than me, he caught the ball and started running, but then spotted me barrelling towards him and full kilter, at first he looked amused, then worried, then pure terror set in just as I took him hard and low, according to the boys he did a full 720 before hitting the turf... good times.

It was a generalization. I know the Wachowski brothers or (sister and brother now) made the movie, but it sure doesn't look like they can catch lightning in a bottle twice and Hollywood hasn't managed to create a movie as unique since then either IMO.

I have heard of it and while it wasn't a bad movie, it was no Matrix and did not innovate the industry like the first Matrix did. Just think of what the innovation of bullet time alone has done not only for movies but video games as well.

I'd be okay with another trip to the Matrix universe. The sequels obviously werent as good as the original but I still dont think they were that bad (at least they werent Star Wars Prequel bad)

Outside of the unnecessarily long battle in the docks of Zion I think I like Revolutions more than Reloaded. Revolutions feels like it has a bit more emotion to it, while Reloaded was big action sequences (that were fun to watch, dont get me wrong). Sadly though I dont think we'll ever see another trip into that world. All involved parties seem to have wrapped up and packed away the Matrix franchise.

I agree with your post I enjoyed all 3 but revolutios got back to the core it felt like it had all the elements story wise that made the first so great. They went overboard in reloaded imo which kinda ruined the series

I'd love another Matrix movie too, with how they left it pretty open ended it'd be easy to do, the thing is though is how do you make another good Matrix film that hasn't been done already? I'm not even going to mention the dreaded 'R' word! Imagine something like a Nolan/Wachowski brothers combination Matrix movie on blu ray in 3D - Yes please! :D

I think making a prequel trilogy based on the Renaissance parts 1 & 2 seen in the Animatrix would be incredible. For those who haven't seen it, it's definitely worth checking out, if you can get past the fact it's animation. It's a great origin story. Basically what Morpheus explains to Neo with the little TV in the first simulation spread out into a trilogy. A man can dream can't he...

They have, but there is definitely room for something amazing, and open world, Arkham City style combat (customised for Matrix martial arts and abilities), Uncharted platforming + shooting and Sleeping Dogs driving. It would be fucking awesome. Oh, we'd need a class extension to the story and some brilliant PS4 graphics.
