DC really missed out on a fantastic opportunity to make Wally activate the Speed Force. They even foreshadowed it all season with the "I'm just not fast enough" remarks, which is what I thought they were leading up to. Death can have emotional impact, but growth from an underdog can as well. His death was very forced, I'd much rather have the Flash family still just not fast enough, the bolts strike Wally, activating his latent ability to become one with the speed force, and voila.

To be fair, characters like the Question and Supergirl were on multiple episodes of Justice League Unlimited, so you could always watch that. In fact, the Question was in one of the best episodes in the entire series, an episode called "Double Date".

In a really REALLY bizarre, mostly nonsensical way, I can kinda imagine this show leading into the old Teen Titans series. With Dick Grayson leaving the YJ team, then teaming up with BB, Cyborg, Raven and Starfire to start the Titans. Of course the two shows are not, and could never be linked that way, the tones are just too different (Except for all the Slade and Trigon episodes). Still since we're there is a 99% chance we're not getting anymore YJ, it is a nice way to look at it all.

I'm glad I'm not a kid anymore since it sucks to see your favorite cartoon show get cancelled. It seems that superhero shows never lasts more than 1-2 seasons nowadays? I think the problem with Young Justice is that it aims at older kids and teens, and maybe it's too scary for the young ones?

I have faith that CN will bring Young Justice back. It's such a great show that I can't believe that it's gone. Maybe it is that I don't want to let it go, but it was a great show. Loved the episode, cried when Wally died and when the team was planning their next op while Nightwing was leaving. This show will be missed.

I cant help but feel that the reason "Young Justice" is cancelled is because they'll call it something else. With the ending of the show, they are basically a part of the justice league now so calling it a different name would make sense. Although that is probably more wishful thinking than anything else.

I think they are just killing off their more serious shows to replace them with cheaply made bobble head teen titans. I mean if they where making it like the old teen titans show they would probable be pretty good.

There should be a website apart from kickstarter that basically allows you to fund shows with low ratings so that they continue. They go, "You want more Young Justice, crowd source 2 mill. That's how much we missed our mark in merchandising revenue. We'll even throw in this DVD of Season 1!" Good shows with a strong following of loyal viewers would continue.

History sort of repeats itself. In Crisis On Infinite Earths Barry Allen sacrifices himself by destroying the Anti Monitor's weapon and Wally taking the mantle in becoming the new Flash and now we have Impulse taking the mantle of being the new Kid Flash after Wally sacrifices himself.

Jesus, Savage had a convoluted plan. Create a clone of Speedy in order for Speedy to eventually (after years) infiltrate the Justice League and infect them with Starro-tech. Use the Starro-tech to frame six of the original Leaguers for crimes in another galaxy. This will attract aliens to earth, which will make the Leaguers aware of their crimes. The Leaguers will go to trial, capturing the Reach's interest in Earth. The Reach invading Earth will infuriate Mongol, who will bring War World to Earth, at which time the Reach and the League will work against War World and defeat Mongol. Steal the War World and let Darkseid know you have it.

This is the first American animated series to evoke so much emotion from me. Over the past 2 years, 5 + years in the show's time, we watched these young heroes save the world from villains usually left to the Justice League. They fought their way through the baddest of the bad and right into our hearts. With this I would like to bid the team of Young Justice, espically Wally, a heartfelt farwell.

In the comics, Wally started out slower than Barry Allen but he became faster than Barry in the comics. I kind of expected Wally to all of a sudden run faster than Barry and Bart in YJ finale. If YJ continued, I am sure Wally would have appeared again and would have probably been faster as a result.

Am i the only one that thinks that the 1994 Spiderman animated series was by far the best Spiderman cartoon cuz whoever hasnt seen it go watch it on netflix it has the whole series its right there with Xmen,JL,Superman and Batman The Animated series anyone who has seen that show and disagrees with me then ok but i cant see how you could the animation was good and the stor arcs were some of th best ive ever seen idk maybe im just too old school idk but i would pay anything for a animated movie and YJ has a video game coming out this year but dont have much hope for it

The writing and story arcs were kind of messed up. It was good and definitely one of the best Superhero cartoons but I think Spectacular Spiderman is the best Spiderman cartoon.

No you're right. I argue this with my little cousins all the time. I tell them that it sucks being a kid today because the majority of cartoons today are terrible. I then start to talk about Spiderman: TAS, X-Men: TAS and Batman: TAS. Imagine my surprise when they turned up on Netflix!! :D I made them sit down and watch a couple episodes. I'm a little older now so I have to agree with @Didact watching them now doesn't have the same effect but, when I was a kid easily hands down the best cartoons on television. Didn't really get into Spec Spiderman though... Was it really that good?

I lost interest in the 1st season but started to watch it again in the 2nd. It is good but not quite at the level of Spectacular or TAS. It is about the same as EMH and better than say Wolverine and the X-men.

I'm glad it's getting cancelled, said me. This show was never that great, outside of the animation style. The writing and structure of the story is terrible. Not looking forward to CGI Batman but I do want to see the Titans back. (Note: The regular Teen Titans show was "cartoonish" and for "kids" too...They're all kids shows in the first place...People keep forgetting that.)

Why, because my opinion is different from yours? I didn't like anything about this show besides the character design and animation. The story was bad, the pacing was horrible, it just tried to do way too much...This, like most American shows, don't know how write a story, and end a story. They just keep going and going and adding and adding until it gets cancelled with a cliffhanger and a crap load of plot holes.

I don't think Wally's death was permanent. We don't actually see him die, he just vanishes. He could have been teleported to another dimension/time, but again we'll never know. It looks like season 3 could have featured more of the original members of the JL in action since they allowed them to work out of the Watchtower, we could have seen some good team-ups. It would have been cool to watch them take on Darkseid. Thanks CN for robbing us of another great show. Any chance we can get Netflix to bring this back like they did with Arrested Development?

That was awesome! Why oh why CN! You have destroyed yourself! This was a great episode. I think it deserved at least a 9, but eh, whatever. Also to the crap reason that they weren't selling enough toys, maybe if they freaking advertised the toys during the shows whiling airing, kids would have taken notice quicker. I've been watching this and GL since day 1, and haven't seen a single commercial for any products related to these shows. I hope this show comes back, maybe as a surprise or just on another network. This and GL will truly be missed.

I didn't view Wally's death as manipulative at all. He attempted to leave the life and Artemis agreed and followed, but in the back of her mind and at her core, she was a hero, evidenced by volunteering for the undercover mission and her quoted line "There will always be a world to save." Wally lost sight of that for a time, but in the end, he was redeemed for what could be viewed as him being selfish and his total ignorance towards his abilities, abilities that could be used for the betterment of the world.

They need to make a DC Universe Original Animated Movie based on this/ continuing this. They've been knocking most out of the park and why waste time merely adapting fan-favorite stories into compressed/watered down animated versions when they have such an opportunity to deliver a truly epic sendoff to such a sharp series that stands alongside classics such as Batman, Superman, Justice League and Justice League unlimited.

This was one of the best series ever. I am definitely buying the whole series on Blu-ray. It is sad that the series is finally over, and now we have to deal with "Teen Titans Go". Please, if you loved "Young Justice" as much as me then do not watch CN anymore to protest against their canceling of the show.

I think both series are continuing because at the end of Green Lantern before Young Justice began, it said something like this "Next week on DC Nation, NEW Green Lantern AND NEW Young Justice. So there is still hope.
