This girl is going to kill them one day!! *GodForbid* This is the SECOND time she did this?! My Lord & My God! No parent whether from a foster child or their bio child should have to fear a child poisoning their food/drink. They are really Christ-like b/c I would have dropped her ass off at the nearest group home & sped off!

The attitude of this child is what is wrong with children nowadays. Maybe it's about time to pull back some of that self-empowerment we are giving them because I don't think some kids are able to really understand what it means. They develop a mixed up sense of right and wrong. The one I like is "Nothing is my fault." I have seen so much of this kind of attitude in people, teens & young adults especially. But they also develop a very mixed up version of what is right and wrong. This "drugging of the parents in a collusion for gain" was so totally over the top for a child to do this. Sheesh where are they learning this? TV? Video games? Their high school / college friends or from their parents? I'll tell ya, the parents need to be plenty worried for the future of these two brats. They can be a danger for anyone who they don't like or who did them wrong. I'd be afraid of her and friend when they became adults. I think they need mental health treatment while being locked up. The parents should ground her for 3 yrs!!! Or until she moves away, whichever comes first. The solution isn't to beat the kid. But they have to be made to understand their actions are accepted by NO ONE as correct. These brats were stupid all the way.

Personally I don't think a later internet time hurts teens- but if you don't know what to do in a situation with an online pedophile or cyber bully, etc., you shouldn't be on it any time of day, something that's seldom enforced and well taught-but going against your parents and destroying their trust does hurt teens and that's what's sad about this story, not that a child wanted to go on the internet, but that a child broke their guardian figures' trust by doing something that was quite illegal. Maybe when their daughter comes home this trust will be restored somehow, and that is what we need to hope for.
