Apple to Acquire Anobit?

Apple to Acquire Anobit?

Apple Reportedly Buying Flash Memory Company Anobit For $400 Million – $500 Million | TechCrunch

@Ali Aslan
This is your first step after the death of Steve sir.. So, Best of luck...
@Habibullah Khan
I feel a significant part of Apple's hidden hardware advantage comes from how far up the ladder it is on Koomey's law. Apple's energy efficiency and cooling techniques in its products are quite remarkable and they have a relative lead in this area over others. I would think that a company that helps them keep this advantage would be an acquisition target. Unless the IP Anobit has is something really special that we don't exactly see right now. Or their pipeline....
@David Simpson
Apple has better cooling solutions ? What about the 100.c Macbooks ? Even iMacs overheat, their cooling systems are rubbish.
@Habibullah Khan
David Simpson You know I know a guy too who smokes 80 cigarettes a day and has been doing so for sixty years and is currently eighty. I am sure smoking is good for your health right?
@David Simpson
Habibullah Khan I think you need to work on your metaphors, the sad truth is Apple uses the same cooling systems as everyone else and your comment is still hyperbole.
@Mista Majani
Habibullah Khan a Spud! Yeauchk!
@Innovation Israel
Wow, this will be huge for Israel!
@Benjamin Bakhshi
Well, I live in Israel, so I give a shit!
@Chris G.
I had an opportunity to do a project in Anobit 2 years ago, and I can say it was an amazing opportunity to see hi-tech management at its best. Beside that, it was a rich startup from the beggining while everywhere else crisis was preading, so I wasn't surrprised when I read the news today :)
@Jonathan Nichol
A super deal for Israel! http://www.wagnermeters.com/largelumber.php
@Bwana Kizito
Reduce the price graded based on storage caps.

@Scott Neill
I feel a bit uneasy that you brought up the "p" word again. It seems no article is complete these days without it. Hopefully Apple's purchase, should it happen, is for wholly peaceful purposes.
@Fritz Wonnacott
According to TechCrunch's CrunchBase, the Apple-Anobit deal has been done. $450M (pocket change for Apple, BTW...) - a win-win for both parties.
@Chris Chase
Apple is now publicly funding Zionists? A sad moment for human rights.
@Paul Burdett
Very interesting article! P.s. This allowed me to retire in 10 months! http://9NL.com/NoJob
