gesture based TV controls sound wonderful. they even demo pretty well. but I don't think it really scales to everyday usage... we'll see, but I'm skeptical of this one.

Definitely feel the same way. I think it's good as an option... ie "where's my effing remote?" but I don't think it's a more efficient or better UX than what we've currently got.

do I have to be in the same household as my account is registered? HBO allows you to sign in with a verizon account from anywhere. I'm wondering if they are going to just using your 360 as a cable box because if that's the case this service is pointless.

fios makes you have a box for each tv (as opposed to just a coax connector), so for those people who have all 3 verizon services, an xbox and xbox live gold, but dont want to pay for an extra box, this is a dream!
