Zachery Bir
The iOS app received a recent update and now also supports offline caching. (Disclosure: I work for Canonical, on the iOS apps).

Now the trick is going to be finding a machine that I care so little about that I might install windows on it just to play with this.

Yeah, unfortunately TV tuner support is handled by an outside group, and they have yet to cover the one chipset that most of my tuners use.

Been using this for awhile now (windows version), its been super steady and awesome. Only reason I don't got fully to ubuntu is that its doest recognise my tv tuner.

Perhaps I can assist you with that tv tuner, I have quite a lot of experience regarding tv hardware on Linux.

What do you mean ? I've been using Ubuntu-One with 11 (on my laptop) and 10 (on my desktop) for a few months with no issues. Both hosts working as expected.
