Steve Jobs Resigns. What Is His Legacy As A Speaker? PowerPoint and Presentation Techniques
Yen Ming · Limkokwing University
Without Steve, there won't be Androids or WP7's or check-ins, angry birds, Droid tablets, I can go on and on and on, So, Trolls, haters, lovers, friends, enemies, everyone, lay down your arms, take a moment of silence and re-think what this great man has done for all of us....ALL of us.

I wouldn't say those things will not exist. That's insulting to the intelligence of other visionaries in the tech world. However, their existence would definitely have been delayed without Steve Jobs.

Tundey Akinsanya I agree with Yen Ming. The cell phones sucked before Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone. All the other companies were catering to the carriers. Steve Jobs were the only one to look at it from a users perspective.

“Stay hungry, Stay foolish.” - Steve Jobs.
In a world where inspiration is few and far between, I am moved today by the death of a true visionary who has affected and effected every person I know and everyday that I live. As I sit here, in the heart of a furiously growing technology company, surrounded by intellectuals from all ends of the earth, in the middle of a country beset by such conflict and adversity, I am moved by the death of Steve Jobs and saddened that such a light for innovation and inspiration has now departed this world.
Is it fair to say that once or twice in a generation does someone come along with such clear genius on the logical side and the creative side, the marriage of which cannot be arranged and very rarely bares fruit? In life and in death, Steve Jobs has made communication an art form, navigation ...See More

Steve created an amazing culture at Apple that is passionate about beauty and every detail in their products, maybe more than any other tech company ever. I can't believe he's gone and I never will have the chance to meet the man that has been one of my life's largest inspirations to "think different".
I feel for his wife, family and friends and hope they will all be well and strong through these hard times.
I imagine that in the future he will be a main part of all books on entrepreneurship and technology history, he will forever be remembered as a great man. His legacy will be forever. He achieved his mission.

I'm actually really curious on what people think Steve Jobs did WRONG as a CEO? Is there anything?
Besides handing over your company to someone who isn't ≥ passionate as you, I can't think of anything else.

It's called business. If you admit to the problem sales will drop. As a salesperson that's the last thing you want to do is admit even the smallest flaw, or acknowledge bigger ones directly as that can affect everything from stock to sales performance. It's best to brush it under the rug and deal with it as it comes and try and push out a solution (like the bumpers) so people don't have to think the whole product is garbage if it's just 1 thing.
Go ahead and sell a product. When people start telling you it's flawed, then you should admit it's flawed. Watch your sales drop and people lose confidence in your product. Making your next product a harder sell and the current one a tough one too as people instead decide to wait until the next version of it comes out. It's business to deny the issues.
