Google also remains the number 1 company that startups dream of being acquired by. If I had a dollar for every time I've heard the phrase "Acquired by Google" I could take a small vacation!

doesn't any sense.. yeah Apple went up because it started hire more people.. but let's say most of the people want to go work for some local small company (why wouldn't they though), you still wouldn't see it reflected here, because it's not a one company.. but this chart is pretty obvious because as more people a company hires more people want to work there.. that's why Facebook is not seen here.. but I don't think lot of people would reject offer from Facebook..

I'm not surprised to see Google at the top since they have a ton of capital available towards building out dedicated University Programs teams for each continent. However, I'm really surprised that Facebook didn't make this list. Facebook.com is the #2 website on the internet according to Alexa rankings. Having toured FB's HQ, I can tell you there is this silent buzz in the air when you walk inside the buildings. It's truly energetic. Even though they probably aren't handing out as many RSUs anymore, I would think the company would still be very attractive to engineering students because it's still relatively small with tons of 'wow' potential left.
