I just can't get past that black background UI they do (I know they do it to save battery life so they don't have to illuminate pixels on AMOLED), but it just doesn't do it for me.

Lots of borrowed solutions appearing in here as well which is unfortunate given the amount of people thinking and working on this project.

I think that the black background helps the text and icons to stand out. I know it looks plain, but it does contrast well.

Nick Fleker Felker White backgrounds with black text are proven to contrast even better. The black background with white text has been proven to actually be LESS likely to stand out (contrast).

Also, black backgrounds with white text increase Halation, which reduces readability.

The guy obviously never had a Gingerbread 3.2 in his hand, he seems a bit lost with the starting screen and went straight to the camera instead to the home screen and the other odd thing was dealing with the widgets… next time try to hold your thumb a bit longer on the screen let see what’s happen then. But overall I’m keen to get the update on my phone as well :)

Where's the Google Drive? Hopefully Ice Cream Sandwich has more features. At this point, I doesn't seem like enough features to call a major release (4.0).
