Steve Jobs resigns and the next iOS beta release busts my iPhone. Is there a connection, I don't know? What do you think?

Mine wasn't bricked, the cellular data works and the iPod function works perfectly as it did before the update. All tracks will play and it doesn't skip them in a weird and random way. No problems here.

This beta 7 does not contain anything gr8 instead there still are many bugs in it. huh. Looks impossible to see official launch this Sept. http://techzoom.org/ios-5-complete-list-of-200-new-features/

Mine upgraded OTA all ok. Nice new little bug in that iPod/Music doesn't work correctly anymore - nice one Apple!

Mine is exactly the same. Previously saved tracks don't work but anything new works fine.

I'm getting an error that says "Unable to Check for Updates - An error occurred while checking for a software update." Anyone else experiencing this while trying to get iOS 5 beta 7?

Fixed... I rebooted my iPhone 4 and now the update is there. Currently downloading and will be installing shortly.

Whoever puts this on their devices if you see anything that is new or improved, could you please leave a comment :)

Runs pretty well on my Focus. I had to disect the data cable first (fix this Apple!), but now I'm seeing that Twitter integration is more "full". Still no Facebook integration (Second plea, same as the first) or non-proprietary IM integration. Although, I think someone might have that idea for the next version.

I would like Facebook Integration, makes no sense you cant upload pictures straight to facebook

Apple have always shown a fondness of Twitter, nothing to Facebook though. Facebook don't really show much love for Apple either.

Is there any thinking on how close iOS 5 might be getting to a release candidate?

@David did you buy a Dev UDID? If so that is why it bricked.

Well, there is a bug in the Beta 7. It seems factory unlocked phones are not getting operator information and because of that we can't set APN for internet/internet sharing. I found a workaround. Download a iPhone Configuration Utility from Apple (Google gives you links!) and create a new profile for your telephone, you can set APN in the profile and send it to your phone by email, load it on phone and you're ok! Access point isn't working tho..
