Kicksend Goes Mobile With A New iPhone App For Instant, Asynchronous Sharing Of Big Files | TechCrunch
@John S. Wilson
Nice. There are a ton of file sharing apps/services but this is definitely adding value in the space.
@Jacob Relkin
Awesome. Nice work Pradeep and Brendan! :)
@Rok Krulec
Awesome App
@Dennis Prochniak
No Linux and no Android support ;(.
@Kevin Deer
Very cool, although I'll stick to http://www.dropbox.com for now.
@Justin Briggs
Really useful, but where's the business model? It's obvious they're waiting to start charging to "figure out the optimal model." But come on guys! What happened to "charge from day 1!" At what level of "percent-seed-investment-depleted" does the board say there's no more data to collect and it's time to start collecting revenue. If you have waited this long, maybe you didn't do enough customer development, and that's a major fail.
@Sahil Lavingia
Kicksend already has premium pricing for pro features.
@Manish M. Shah
Another favorite option is File Apartment (http://www.fileapartment.com). Easy to use, no software to download or registration, up to 1 GB, safe, secure, and free customer support.
@Shaun Takenouchi
"Kicksend’s advantage over other file sharing media is that it has no size limit". This statement is somewhat misleading in that you can send any size file. With the free account you can only send up to 1GB a month. That to me does not portray "no size limit".
@Ivan Adams
can't wait to give a try.
