Skyward Sword Boss Gameplay

40/40 for Wind Snoozer and Nintendogs? Pretty clear that the rating doesn't mean what it used to. I've even got Skyward Sword pre-ordered, but c'mon.

Agreed, it definitely weakens it's credibility.

Same here, got to Nintendogs and instantly thought this rating system is flawed somehow.

It's just flat out lies though, compared to everything else. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when the majority says it's good, while this guy claims there's something wrong with it, I think I know who I'm going to believe, gaming wise. Gamespot has kinda been in the negative anyway...

Lindsey Alvord Heh, well I'm still looking forward to it, the outlier reviews just make things more entertaining. I still remember when the world just about blowed up because GameSpot dropped the infamous 8.8 on Zelda: Twilight Princess. Good times, good times. :)

40/40 is a justifiable score for WindWaker. If people could take their OOT nostalgia glasses off they would see that from a technical standpoint, WW was the greatest Zelda achievement to date. Ocarina will always have a special place in my heart, but WW's unparalleled fluid game play controls, as well as it's bold direction in art style makes it the Zelda game that stands out the most in my opinion. Twilight Princess was good...but a tad disappointing. It tried too much to be OOT, and not it's own game like the WindWaker was. Having said that, I have high hopes that SS new art style will once again bring a fresh unique look to the series and help make it it's own game.

You should take off your nostalgia glasses for Celda it featured ugly visible white lines nearly as ugly as its art style, tedious 15 minute sail athons, empty tiny little islands, a ridiculous lengthy triforce fetch quest that very transparently attempted to hide the game's lack of temple's and pad its length. Ultimately Celda sucked and did NOT deserve a perfect score from ANY publication. That Famitsu gave this turd a perfect score damages their credibility in my eyes as well any other sane non Nintendo fanboy person.

Jenkem Black Funny thing is, I'm not wearing any nostalgia glasses for WindWaker. I didn't even say it was my favorite Zelda. I said that from a technical standpoint, it was an incredible achievement and the one Zelda game that stood out the most among the others. People fly off the deep end because they think I'm criticizing their precious OOT, when I'm not. I can understand you didn't like the cell shaded look. You're entitled to your opinion. It doesn't make you right any more than it makes me right. What I'm simply saying is you can't deny the technical achievement that went into making those type of graphics work. If anyone thinks that was a cop out on Nintendo's part, their mistaken. Anyway, everyone has their opinion. You don't like WW for reasons given....that's fine and I respect your opinion. I'm not a big fan of Majora's Mask...for reasons of my own. Doesn't make it terrible game and I'm surely not going to say "Majora's Mask sucked" as if it were fact. Many gaming sites gave MM at 10/10....does that damage their reputation too? Well again....that's a matter of one's opinion...not fact.

Celda Wand Wacker sucked mightily that Famitsu gave that turd a perfect score damages their credibility beyond repair plus that nasty ass ugly as sin game was the greatest betrayal of a fanbase in gaming history the ultimate bait and switch. Nintendo is an evil company for the Celda abomination and many other reasons.
