Well this is actually not that big of a deal. A company called Creative had MP3 players out about 5-8 years before. I had mine so long, that I gave it away. It held 20gb. This was in 2002. Being that MacIntosh went the way of unix, and then started focusing on touch screen devices, and $1 per songs.(I think I never buy music). This is not that big of deal. Just like android is built on java. So is I/whatever. Its a unix+Java-Windows technology. That is why zune came out before windows CE. I have an Ipod 4, and an android phone. The only difference is. Apple wants a dollar for everything. And Google just does whatever it can. Which is every from the opensource world. Which fell apart after Microsoft sent its stooge textmate to buy it. Then Microsoft bought the rest of Novell, and now.NET includes Fast-cgi, AND php. Get it? Its just GNU/GPL/LGPL. w/e the movement from 1985-2008 that most people contributed to the apps. Now they are being sold. Its just crooked businesses for you. That is why those big companies get Haxked :)

Oh I forgot QuickTime4 Kit, which is relatively useless like VBSCRIPT. (Well not in Office Macro.) But yeah. I saw the whole Microsoft dis Opensource. Then they offer stuff like security essentials, and Webmatrix for frees. This is because they have no choice. Apple will soon have to either do something amazing. Or they willl just look like the dirtiest ones selling opensource GNU/GPL type wares. Always use apps, and stuff as develop. You won't ever have to pay a dime.

But does it play flash or it still hides behind that pathetic excuse on why html5 is better even though a lot of html5 sites still rely on flash for content?

I surf the Internet on my iPhone all the freaking time and *rarely* run into a site that relies on Flash. It just isn't that relevant anymore.

If you ask me, anyone that doesn't buy an iPhone based on the fact that it doesn't run Flash wouldn't have bought an iPhone anyway.

Tim Meesseman Tell that to the companies marketing Android phones. "OMG ANDROID PLAYS YOUTUBE AND HULU, EVEN THOUGH BOTH OF THEM HAVE IPHONE APPS!"
