BTW- Amazon Music is friggin cool! I uploaded 27,469 MP3's so far and counting. Been uploading day and night for a few weeks :-) I tried the Prime Video service and its cool also. It balances well with Netflix.
Itunes to me is difficult to use and if you are not careful will delete your music collection. With iPhone/iPod if you change PC's for some unexpected reason and you are not careful which settings you use it will mess up your music collection. I know many who has use itunes at some point had their music collection deleted.

Amazon doesn't release any kind of sales figures, but they "leak" pre-orders? How reliable is that information?
Reagan's press secretary once said if they (his administration) says something three times, it gets accepted as truth. This "leak" will no doubt get repeated far more than three times, and will be treated as fact on the web by everyone trying to make a point. Kind of like Microsoft is getting paid $5-15 for every android phone sold, even though the patents that demand such payments are for things that are not necessary on any smart phone.
What is it about the web that makes so many people so gullible?

So Amazon convinced 250k people to "pre-order now to reserve a place in line," ~6 weeks before a single unit ships (let alone YOURS). That's pretty impressive sales and pretty unimpressive logistics. It's not a kickstarter project...
