Probably in the same room as you, picking sides over multi-billion dollar companies that don't care what side you're on, as long as you want to give them your money.

God, you're all such sheep.

Steve Job shows that a company who valued design more than anything else wins.

But I'm worried about MG Siegler, hes probably alone in a room with all of his Apple products.
MG, MG are you ok?

The grounds for the future of technology has been laid - now its a matter of execution. The visions of a mobile device won't be changing much for the near future. Sure we'll have googles with built in AR features and such but as far as being connected all the time and doing things with touch and gestures, that's already there. How do you know Steve hasn't already painted the picture?

dont listen to max, he thinks apple stock will go down 100 even though it already has gone down 20 dollars in afterhours. I will be BUYING apple stock on monday. Apple consists of 70% institutional investors, and after the shorters buy the shares back to cover it, the stock should go up significantly.... this is the biggest overreaction ever. its not like jobs was doing much the past 2 years anyways

If there is a single word to define Jobs that would be "courage" . That is what makes him apart of most Company CEOs tha cowardly concentrate in making only short bets in killing "costs" like R&D, or by follwing what everyone in the market or stockholders agrees with, rather than take the risk of following your own instincts.

Thank god. I give the man my love as a human and a person who deserves to live a healthy life, but thank god that he's resigning. Maybe Tim Cook will stop the development of flashy bullshit that floods every store. Only worth while piece of sparkling tech that came out of that company was the iPod. God damn.

What's stupid about praising the quality of a well built machine? You do realise Pamela that because Apple develops both Software and Hardware, their computers consequently run more efficiently than any PC could. Either way just go Linux

Steve Jobs is to the computer and IT industry as Henry Ford was to the automobile. Everyone on their computer at this moment should thank Steve for literally changing our lives for the better. My brother and I met Mr. Jobs when he was working out of his garage at a computer show in Vegas before anyone knew who Steve Jobs was. Remember my brother saying to me (he's deceased) that this dude is sharp and is going to change many lives. Steve thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you've done. Success is not measured by dollars but rather the impact on people. I don't think anyone could disagree he's impacted our lives. I wish him long healthy life!

Jobs is a dynamic individual and a fellow who had earned 400 million dollars by the age of 28. But his battle with illness illustrates that if your don't have your health the rest of life is seriously compromised. It is a tragic turn of events that he has been plagued by ill-health for so many years in spite of all that he's accomplished in life.
