Motorola Xoom 2 Review & Specifications

Here we "finally" have an android tablet worth buying, that is also priced comparatively to Apple's iPad. I like my apple products (I'm Apple only at my house with an Windows 7 drive in one). But I'm also a tech enthusiast that thinks the Android platform is just as promising. I can't wait to see what the Android tablet market does next!

This is running hardware that's been out for a year and an os that's been out for two. Its been stomping out the ipad2 for awhile now man. And its competitively.

The 10.1 model costs $529 WITH CONTRACT and the 8.2 costs $429? That's NOT "priced comparatively to Apple's iPad".

As with real life, you pay for better you get better. Hard to believe, I know, especially when people pay absurd amounts for duo core 1ghz phones still running 3g.

At the risk of sounding positive, I really like my Motorola Xoom. The build quality is solid, and Honeycomb is pretty spiffy. It looks as if they're addressing the terrible standby button placement, which was my only complaint.
But please, PLEASE don't let them lock it down with Motoblur. I dislike it on my Droid X2. I really do.

Ugh, balls. The power button is smaller, and in the same location.

Wow in Japan you pay zero down and only a 2 yr contract. Softbank allows everyone in our family to get an ipad2 for like $35 a month.
