Free Three Kingdoms UFOs Hack

If Freemium Is In, Then Why Do Paid Apps Still Reign Supreme? | TechCrunch
@Dovy Paukstys
The freemium apps lead to the paid apps. Could this be skewed?
@Ryan Takahashi
Exactly, who only plays Angry Birds Lite?
@John Fernandez
theres no such thing as lite or premium on wp7. wp7 has trial versions.. android has lite versions to pad their total app counts. quite pathetic
@John Rampton
Could also be because of the functionality... We're all willing to pay for the $1 for something we really want. But entering our password for something we don't want that doesn't do much is a pain in the ass!
@Jacob Orrin
interesting
@Gleent Innovative Technologies
:)
@Lars Pallesen
I don't see what's so hard to understand about this? If a newspaper company launches a free daily newspaper and hands it out on commute trains and busses, I'm sure a lot of people say "sure, why not" and take it.Hey, it's free. In that respect the free newspaper will become "popular" very fast. But does that mean that people prefer the freebie over The New York Times, say? No, of course not. It just means that it's free! Same with free game apps.
@Kim Fraiser
The coolest app I found for my iphone is CSI globalVCard. I use it to create one time use credit cards for all of my B2B purchases. Its super easy to use and I don’t ever have to worry about someone stealing my credit card information.
@Ran Laufer
Yess this is a very intersting satistik.
@Will Vinci Tran
Because we want to spend money on our iPhone.
@Al Park
its cuz paid apps will be better in general
@Owen Biddle
New app developers think they can make a quick buck. It's harder to develop a freemium model so they sell apps for 99 cents and up.
@Vandré Israel Brunazo
Yup, it's much easier to just put a price tag before uploading then to design and develop in app payment. No matter how better in app payment is, there will always be many paid apps.
@Simon Broenner
99 cents is essentially a free app for many people. When the price is so low, most people don't think twice... Also: Some apps are too complex to develop and then distribute for free, in the hope of advertising bringing in enough cash to cover the development costs... hence there being no free alternatives that are anywhere near feature complete or as usable - take office apps for instance. In addition, most devs know when they don't have competition - if you've got the only app that does XYZ, why releaes it for free? Charge $5. If you're releasing yet another game that nobody needs, make it 99c or ad-supported... otherwise nobody will buy it ;).
@Nubi Kayode
Now this is interesting, and maybe a wake up call on how to monetize my apps.
@Olaide Ale
This man has come again with his online business.. lol
@Nubi Kayode
@[100001260002220:2048:Olaide Ale] Why are you offline on skype? [e-business is the ish] :)
