OK, so there is a readable version hosted here, it's just TechCrunch's hopeless web design renders it useless (pun intended).

I just right-clicked and opened the link from the graphic in a new window, then made it full-screen. Too bad TC's got scripting all over it to ruin what ought to be a simple HTML link.

Yea, this is a pain in the ass guys, we're workin on a fix! Thanks.

I modified the behavior of the lightbox. It will now render properly on the page. No right-clicking necessary ;).
Lee Stacey
Thanks, TechCruch. Your image lightbox is useless.
Rob Saurini · Top Commenter · Redwood City, California
Sorry about that. I updated it so that it's now less useless. Enjoy.

Spend 2600 + during a span of 2 years to have the iphone. Complain about.99-4.99 apps being too expansive. Priceless!

Right? It's gotten pretty out of control.
AppsBidder Inc
The post is spot on; developers pretty much have so much going against them in trying to publish an app to the app store. Even in the event of a successful app publication, they’re no guarantee for success; there is so much competition to worry about. Most of the times developer lack the funds to be able to hire marketing personnel to improve app visibility and this is where they are at the mercy of the variable dynamics in the App Store.
To boost visibility, developers can use http://www.appsbidder.com as an app store to promote their content cheaply in order to get people noticing your app. You have the option to feature your app for limited time duration and all feature content are immediately syndicated to majority of the social media and bookmarking sites. This increases your Seo on the site and the general web. Apps developers can simply use this solution to drive traffic to apps on appsbidder.com while redirecting Potential users to their iTunes profiles for the app download. Get started at www.appsbidder.com and boost your earnings.

The get a mac step is where apple fails, and the reason I'm developing all my apps on android first, Most people who want to get into development wont have macs, and getting a mac is utterly expensive, thankfully In 5 years Iphones will be obsolete.
Eric Mills · Art Institute of Atlanta
If you can't afford a mac I'm sorry but you must not be a good developer. If you are you should think about getting a better job.
Edmund Rojas · Top Commenter · Works at Facebook Hater
Eric Mills Ive been developing websites/desktop applications for years, never have I had any limitations using a pc until apple decided that they were going to make one by not releasing the Iphone sdk for windows, thats just bad business, and will lead to their demise In the smartphone industry the same way it did in the pc industry, their loss.
Michael Quimby · Works at Sauder Woodworking
hahhaha - Yeah they're loss - We've had the iPhone for almost 4.5 years and people are still buying them by the truckload. iOS is making everyone else look like clowns. It's a like a freight train that spews money from the stacks as it goes down the track. If you want to play, you have to invest in a machine. I don't understand how this is so troubling to a "seasoned" website/desktop application (LOL) developer.

LMAO! So true! Developers are made to believe the app store will make them rich, while it makes Apple richer, more in-control, and makes the developer geekier! Quite ironic!

This is pretty spot on. I went through much of this with my app SportSync. www.inov8apps.com/apps/sportsync

ViziApps
this is great! love the infographic. I believe Mobile Apps will eventually become a necessity for businesses of all sizes with all budgets. And you no longer need to hire developers to create your apps. it is now literally as easy as making a powerpoint document. With viziapps platform, you don't need to know anything about coding. Access back-end data to and from your device, including Google Spreadsheets, without.
coding. create your own app and test it on your phone for free: http://www.viziapps.com/LearnMore.aspx This technology fits every budget.
this is going to change how small businesses employ their marketing strategies. mobile app technologies gives small businesses a fighting chance to compete with the big players.

Sir I was wondering if you could make your code Open source? I find guys like you wanting to make money with programming shameful. I LOL'ED
Zac Fregoli · Üst Düzey Yorumcu
How about not releasing an app to the app store and instead hosting it?
Will it spell auto-fail for your hours of hard work?

That is funny! I agree, the SDK UX is a nightmare. You'd think that Apple would figure that out. To get approved, you have to FAX (yes FAX) something to Apple.
