Front and center. The entire creative process WETA went through is about maintaining his vision. The app walks through that in meticulous detail.

HarperCollins could be treating it as a loss leader. Buying a paper book whatever the price will not convince you of the virtues or vices of paper books as a whole. Buying an app will convince you of the virtues of apps as they're a newer form of entertainment. Harper might be looking to make their costs now and profit on later apps like this. They have tonnes of intellectual properties to try. Tintin is a good barnstormer what with the movie being so recent and the source material's power.

Seeing the previews, it looks like the movie also blurs the lines between animation and reality. With some of the scenes it switched to, I had to remind myself that it was animated.
