A somewhat off-topic tip for iOS developers: if you're going to release a niche app, selling it for free + ads, with an IAP to remove ads, is *always* better than just simply charging $0.99 for the app. That way, you capture a much larger userbase by capturing people who are both willing and unwilling to pay for lack of ads. In addition, network effects from free users let you get even more users than otherwise charging for the entry fee, which gives you a larger userbase for conversions.
