Totally work worldwide, though I regret enabling all that clutter the ability to scroll through months or years of a profile this quick is indeed an improvement from the simple wall.
Checklist status updates are no longer simple text but checklist options to narrow targeted ads to you like:
"You lost an important person"

Right, because rearranging content that was already there in order to make it simpler and easier to view = MySpace.

Reason why I won't do this:
- I don't want to verify my facebook by phone number or credit card...

Once you've verified by phone number, you can go back and remove the number. I verified awhile ago to actually develop an app, deleted my number, and was still able to go through all these steps. Just an fyi. :)

It worked for me. I think it's genius. Pipe down with the negativity folks. Facebook aren't generating any new content here, they're just optimizing the idle content that we had posted, and then very quickly forgotten about. That content now has genuine personal storytelling value... Props to FB, and props to TechCrunch for getting us in there.

This goes to show how TechCrunch likes to cause trouble. If your not a developer, then don't sign up to be a developer. There's a reason dev's get this. And that's because of our hard work to design great apps for Facebook.
Your not being clever... And Facebook will cotton on to this.

After a few decades of mispronunciations and childish humour, I would rate your play on the name as about as funny as having fingernails pulled out with pliers. BTW, it's "coburn".

I like it, totally new experience. Seeing how many friends you gained over a certain timespan is a very cool concept. My photos are no longer just photos of me, they are photos of me attached to the event and all the emotions that go with that.

It's useless...it looks nice, but it's fkin useless. It was much cleaner and simpler before. This kind of thing should be done by 3rd party app, or at least should optional. And also, it will probably kill your browser.

Sometimes I wonder if those complaining are really just haters for the sake of hating. I, for one, like the new change to the timeline. It tells you more about your friends than the wall ever hoped to.

Josh I am certainly not a hater for the sake of hating but I am concerned with the quick acceptance that some people seem to have with the obvious manipulation from Facebook of it's users and the massive privacy breaches as if it is unimportant it really IS important and it is something that NEEDS to be taken seriously!!
I love being on Facebook and I have found long lost friends and and and...but the agreement I made with Facebook originally has been changed beyond all recognition and I don't like it and I don't like not be able to choose. It should be opt in policy not opt out and we should be allowed to know what information is being made public and what is being sold to whom and in what form.
